The Brookings Institution releases report on Social Impact Bonds
The Boston-based think tank the Brookings Institution has released a report on the situation of Social Impact Bonds worldwide.
Entitled “The Potential and Limitations of Impact Bonds: Lessons from the First Five Years of Experience Worldwide,” the report reviews all Social Impact Bonds initiated so far (including the so-called development impact bonds) and describes conjunctive and differentiating aspects of this new kind of project. The first German Social Impact Bond, which Juvat managed for its duration from September 2013 until December 2015, is mentioned as well. The report is available to download on the Brookings Institution’s website.
